Mexican sailors from ‘Cuauhtemoc’ attacked and beaten in Poland by the hooligans(VIDEO)

This afternoon, (Sunday, 18 August, 2013) a number of Mexican sailors from the sailing ship ‘Cuauhtemoc’, (which featured in the Tall Ships’ Races Szczecin 2013),were attacked and beaten by football hooligans supporting Ruch Chorzów in Gdynia, Poland.

According to witnesses, the sailors were relaxing on the municipal beach in Gdynia, when they were attacked by a group of hooligans wearing the colours of Ruch Chorzów, who called them ‘Brudasy’ and ‘Czarnuchy’ (dirty niggers). The hooligans from Chorzów were present in Gdynia to watch the cup match against Arka Gdynia.
The sailors were apparently assaulted with objects including bottles, and a number were beaten unconscious, and taken to hospital by ambulance.
