Hungarian Politician: Government Controlled by Zionists

Jobbik party officials in Hungary have not reacted kindly to the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s protest of their deepening ties with Iran.
“Jobbik has been shocked to learn that the delegation of Simon Wiesenthal Center called for an intvestigation into the ‘suspicious’ relation of Jobbik and Iran at their meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Tibor Navrasics and State Secretary of the Foreign Ministry Zsolt Nemeth,” Jobbik’s deputy leader, Márton Gyöngyösi, said in a statement.
Jobbik is one of the largest political parties in Hungary and is known for incorporating anti-Semitism into its party platform.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center protested the ties between Jobbik and Iran after an alarming article published by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency coincided with a trip to Hungary by a delegation from the organization.
In his statement Gyongyosi also accused the Hungarian government of being controlled by “Zionists.”
“As we can see the Zionist organizations pressure openly not only our government but the jurisdiction as well. Seeing the deeds and hearing the statements from the government we suspect that there has not remained a grain of sovereignty in Hungary but the government continuously acts under the pressure of the Zionist lobby powers,” he said.
