White Canadian Truck Driver Murdered Passing Through Chicago's Southside (Englewood - 97% Black)

CHICAGO (FOX Chicago News) - CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE: A Canadian truck driver was shot and killed early Wednesday on the South Side of Chicago. Police said he was the victim of a robbery with multiple male perpetrators.

Gary Clark, 39, of Courtice, Ontario, was found shot inside a semi-truck parked at a vacant lot located in the 5800 block of South Aberdeen Street about 8 p.m., authorities said.

Clark had just finished visiting his brother – who he was very close with – and had decided to sleep for a few hours in his truck before making the drive back to Canada.
