On this day February 27th:
1560-The Treaty of Berwick, which would expel the French from Scotland, was signed by England, and the Protestant noblemen known as the Congregation of Scotland.
1670-Jews were expelled from Austria by order of Leopold I.
1868-The Jew Benjamin Disraeli became Prime Minister of Great Britain.
1900-In South Africa, the British recieved an unconditional surrender from Boer General Piet Cronje at the battle of Paardeberg.
1933-Germany's parliament building in Berlin, the Reichstag, was set on fire by communists. Marinus van der Lubbe, a 23 years old Dutch communist was apprehended at the scene and 3 others arrested later. The Jews to this day falsify history and claim the Nazis started the fire for their own political ends,
1939-The British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain recognised Franco's Fascist Government in Spain.
1945-Under Bolshevik pressure, the Romanian King, Michael I was forced to appoint a Communist government.
1945-The US 8th Air Force launched another heavy attack against Berlin which devastated the center of the city.
1993-US actress Lillian Diana Gish (Birth of a Nation), died in New York aged 99.
2011-Frank Buckles, last surviving American World War I veteran died in Charles Town, West Virginia aged 110.
